Elijah Ephraim Umanah

Elijah Ephraim Umanah is a 13-year-old SS1 student of Centenary Staff College, Uyo. Elijah is so passionate about Technology that in JSS2, he and his friends formed a small group of developers, with the aim of inventing things for the school. They would gather materials and spare parts of things from their neighborhood and try to create things or make repairs of spoilt gadgets. During one of his exams periods, Elijah faced difficulties reading for his papers at night occasioned by the faulty power supply in his area and lamps were having weak batteries because they were not charged. This drove him to try attaching a lamp to the glasses he normally wore to read, to direct the light to his books and become an alternative to reading lamps. He started work on this, but his friends had other ideas they prioritized to work on.

David Nengi Ayomide Pepple

David Nengi Ayomide Pepple is 9 years old and lives with his parents and brother at No.133 Niger Street (Town) Port Harcourt. David is a child full of ideas. He also has a passion for turning waste into wealth through artworks. He possesses the dexterity and uncommon ability to work with almost any material and convert them into various items. He has been doing this for over 2 years but recently, he came up with the idea to display the artworks he created in an exhibition. According to David, there is a story behind every of his artistic creation and this inspires the name was given to each of his artworks.

Victor Olayiwola

Victor Olayiwola was 9 years old when the car accident that claimed his leg instead of his life happened.It was December 12, 2012, Victor had just arrived Lagos, from the popular annual meeting held by his church which he attended with his Mother and some other family members.According to the incident that was narrated by Victor’s classmate, Adesina Adesanya and Victor’s mother, they had arrived safely in Lagos, very early that fateful Saturday morning. They boarded another vehicle that took them to Fagba, where they reside in Lagos. While trying to cross the road to continue their journey home in order to rest from the rigorous spiritual exercise, an oncoming bus who refused to obey traffic laws, rushing to beat the red light ran into the unsuspecting family crossing the road.
