Recognising Different Expressions of Bravery

Bravery takes different forms. The Indomie Heroes Awards recognises children whose actions demonstrate courage, selflessness, and measurable impact in three core categories.

Physical Bravery

For children who risked their personal safety to protect or save others.

These are moments of immediate danger, like fires, accidents, conflict situations, and emergencies, where a child chose action over fear and created a life-saving impact.

Social Bravery

For children who stood up against injustice, personal limitation, harmful behaviour, or societal pressure.

This includes challenging bullying, defending others, confronting harmful norms, or advocating for fairness when remaining silent would have been easier.

Intellectual Bravery

For children who applied creativity, intelligence, or innovation to solve real problems.

These are acts where a child identified a need and created a solution that improved lives within their school, neighbourhood, or wider community.
