Indomie Heroes Award?

The Indomie Heroes Award is a Social Responsibility Initiative that seeks to identify, recognise, celebrate and reward the positive efforts, strong character, and achievements of young children between the ages of 0-15 years who have exhibited various acts of bravery and heroism at one time or another anywhere in Nigeria.The recipients of Indomie Heroes Award are rewarded with the sum of ₦1,000,000 worth of scholarship among other monetary donations given to them by guests during the ceremony.

The initiative has seen 16 editions, and the award continues to spotlight young heroes whose courage, resilience, and selfless acts have made a powerful impact in their communities and beyond. Up until now, 52 heroic children have been awarded and rewarded for different yet outstanding acts of bravery.

Recognizing those who have risked their safety to help others, stood up against social injustices, or used their creativity and intellect to solve real-life problems. The Indomie Heroes Award not only showcases these remarkable stories but also inspires a culture of compassion, strength, and courage in the next generation.

The Indomie Heroes Award is a national initiative that celebrates the extraordinary acts of bravery by Nigerian children. It recognizes young heroes whose courageous actions inspire hope and positive change within their communities.
The award is open to Nigerian children aged 0 to 15 years who have performed acts of bravery, whether physical, social, or intellectual, in their communities.
There are three main categories: the Physical Bravery Award for those who risked their safety to save lives or property; the Social Bravery Award for children who have stood up against injustice or inspired community change; and the Intellectual Bravery Award for kids who have overcome challenges or solved problems with creative solutions.
Entries can be submitted on the “submit your entry (Link)” page on the official website. Detailed instructions on the entry process, required documentation, and submission guidelines are provided on the page as well.
A panel of esteemed judges carefully reviews entries based on the impact of the act, the level of bravery demonstrated, authenticity of the story, and the overall inspiration it provides. Each entry is evaluated to ensure the hero’s story embodies the spirit of the award.
No, there is no entry fee. The award is a celebration of courage and community spirit, and it is open for submissions free of charge.
The submission window is open all year round however, new entries are received from the end of the last edition to the start of the new one. For the 2025 edition, the call for entries is open and ends 30th June 2025.
Once submitted, entries are reviewed by our dedicated team and then short-listed for judging. Selected entries will be contacted for further information or verification before the final judging process takes place.
Winners receive a combination of cash prizes, scholarships, and other rewards designed to support their education and future endeavors. In addition, winning stories are broadcasted to inspire others, and winners become ambassadors for positive change.
